Cornell University

Event Scheduling Office

Planning an event just got easier with the the new Event Scheduling Office.

Introducing the Event Scheduling Office

The Event Scheduling Office is now Cornell's primary resource for student organizations seeking assistance with event request form creation and location selection, while also providing event planning resources for the broader Cornell community. From initial planning through event execution, the office serves as a single point of contact to help you navigate the entire process from start to finish.

The office manages reservations for designated event spaces directly, and provides guidance and assistance for spaces managed elsewhere โ€” so you always have somewhere to start.

  • Direct reservations for designated event spaces across campus
  • Guidance and assistance navigating approvals for other campus locations
  • A single point of contact for your organization's scheduling questions
  • Support from your first request through final approval

New form

A revamped Event Request Form

The Event Request Form in 25Live has been redesigned with a more modern look, a more helpful layout, and guiding text throughout โ€” and it's much shorter than before.
1. Cleaner, modern design

A refreshed look that's easier to read and faster to complete on any device.

2. Built-in guidance

Helpful text and examples walk you through each question as you go, so there's less guesswork.

3. Fewer required fields

A shorter form that only asks what's needed โ€” so your request gets to review faster.

New requirement

New Date Validation Process

To ensure events have the resources and approvals they need, certain event activities must now be submitted at least 4 weeks before the event date.
!  Plan ahead for qualifying activities
This timeline allows campus partners sufficient time to review requests, coordinate services, address safety considerations, and secure event spaces โ€” so your event can be planned and executed successfully. This lead time cannot be waived, so build it into your planning from day one.
