From Tablings to Donation Boxes

There are many other reservable locations on campus for tablings, banner displays, donation boxes, and more.

Activity and Rally Areas on Ho Plaza
Activity and Rally areas on Ho Plaza are for activities that are larger than activities that can't be accomplished at a tabling.

  • Activity Area (HOPACTA and HOPACTB)
  • Rally Space (HOPRALLY)

Tabling
Tabling provides an opportunity to give out information about programs, products, or services at a tabling location within a building. 

Please note that you enter 2 for the Expected Head Count when completing the Event Request Form.

To search for a tabling location

  1. Log in to Scheduling@Cornell
  2. Select Go to Search
  3. Select Location as the Search Object and use the default of saved searches
  4. Select Categories +
  5. Enter Table for the Category
  6. Select Table
  7. Select Done
  8. Select Search
    1. The locations listed will be all outdoor spaces. 
  9. You can check the availability of the location by selecting the Availability tab. 
  10. In the row for the location you want, select the time range you are looking for, and an Event Request Form will open. 
  11. Follow the instructions to Request an Event, https://scheduling.cornell.edu/getting-help/how-instructions-using-schedulingcornell/request-event.  Please note: the location, date, and time will already be populated.
  • Central Campus
    • Willard Straight Hall (WSHTABLEA, WSHTABLEB, WSHTABLEC, WSHTABLED, and WSHTABLEE)
    • Ho Plaza (Outside) (HOPTABLE1, HOPTABLE2, HOPTABLE3, HOPTABLE4, HOPTABLE5, HOPTABLE6, HOPTABLE7, and HOPTABLE8)
  • North Campus
    • Robert Purcell Community Center (RPCTABLEA, RPCTABLEB, RPCTABLEC, RPCTABLED, RPCTABLEE, RPCTABLEF, and RPCTABLEG)
    • Appel Commons Community Center (APPTABLEA)

Donation Boxes
Donation bins are designed to collect clothing, sports equipment, books, non-refrigerated food items, and toys.  Bins will be provided by the building staff, please note that you are not able to bring in your own box and your organization is responsible for checking and removing items daily. 

Please note that you enter 0 for the Expected Head Count when completing the Event Request Form.

To search for a donation box location

  6. Select Donation Box
  7. Select Done
  8. Select Search

Banner Advertising Space 
Banner advertising is limited to the entrance to the Memorial Room at Willard Straight Hall; banner size is 3' x 13'. (WSHBAN)

Display Cases
Display cases are for student organizations only; 8 1/2" x 11" paper only.
