Check the State of Your Event Request Form

Using a search to quickly see your event state; ‘Tentative,’ ‘Confirmed,’ ‘Denied,’ and ‘canceled.’

TIP: If your screen doesn't have the options listed in the instructions, select 25Live Pro at the top right; this will bring your screen back to your dashboard.
  1. Log in to Scheduling@Cornell with your NetID and password.
  2. Select Go to Search

  3. Select Events and select Events You Have Requested

  4. Select Choose Columns

  5. Select State

What does each event state mean:

  • Tentative - the event is pending a location assignment, awaiting approval from a University 
  • Confirmed - the event has received all sign-offs and is confirmed
  • Denied - the event has been denied and is not permitted to take place
  • Canceled - the event has been canceled by the Requestor or didn't receive the necessary sign-off approvals

How to see the status of your event request form?

  1. Log in to Scheduling@Cornell with your NetID and password.
  2. Select Go to Search
  3. Select Events and select Events You Have Requested
  4. Select the event Name you are questioning
  5. Select Task List
Tip – Task Items with the Type of Assign are resources that need to ‘assign’ or ‘deny’ the event request’s event activities.  Any Task Item still as ‘In Progress’ are the resources still needing to process the Event Request Form.
Tip – To ensure the quick processing of your Event Request Form, review your event request Task List to review any questions and instructions that University Events Team might have for you.

If you still have questions or need further assistance with your event request, please follow the instructions below.  This will send a message to the Area's Scheduler through 25Live.

  1. Log in to Scheduling@Cornell with your NetID and password.
  2. Select Go to Search
  3. Select Events and select Events You Have Requested
  4. Select the Name of the event in question
  5. Select Task List
  6. Select More Actions
  7. Select Email Event
  8. Select Scheduler
    1. If your name is under the Scheduler area, select Anyone with Assignment Tasks.  
  9. Select Event Confirmation (Detailed) as an Attachment
  10. Type in your questions, request, or concern in the Message Body area
  11. Select Send
